Wicklow Secondary School Takes the Grand Education Mega Draw Prize for 2023.

SchoolComputers.ie is delighted to announce that Educate Together Secondary School Wicklow is the lucky winner of the 2023 Education Mega Draw 2023 programme.
The school has won a Technology Makeover worth €20,000 which has been supported by major global technology brands including Philips Professional Display Solutions, Canon Print, AOC Monitors and T1A – Europe’s leading Refurbisher of IT equipment.
On receiving the news that their school has won this life-changing prize, Principal John Maddock said,
‘‘This is amazing news for our school community. As a school that prides itself on empowering students through innovative teaching, learning and technology, this technology makeover will further help provide students at ETSS Wicklow with enhanced opportunities for collaboration, and engagement with modern learning experiences in the 21st century digital classroom environment – again thanks so much, we are delighted to have won!”
The school was drawn from a comprehensive list of schools nationwide that had entered the draw by purchasing IT products from SchoolComputers.ie, or through one of SchoolComputers.ie Re-Seller Partners.
Plans are already under way to mark the occasion and celebrate with an event day like no other for the Students & Staff and of course, kit out the school with the €20,000 Technology Makeover.

Last year’s winners Gaelscoil Mhichíl Uí Choileáin, are based in West Cork and on their special event day, they received a visit from Olympic Rowing Champion Garry O’Donovan to address the school and inspired the students to pursue their dreams and take advantage of the newer technology that they had been gifted. ’When we were younger, my brother Paul & I used watch rowing techniques on YouTube for ages. Back in those days however, we had dial up internet and we used to have to wait for ages until the full video buffered. You have no idea how privileged you already are. Technology can be life changing and it changed our lives.’
This year’s winners will receive a Canon Printer & Camera a 75” Philips Interactive Display Screen, AOC Monitors, Charging Carts, and several Recertified and Refurbished laptops from T1A.
